The rapid development of LED also led to a large number of people engaged in the LED certification, but sometimes because of the standard are not familiar with or understand the regulations, or because of lack of understanding of the LED itself, many people often cause errors of LED certification of the understanding. Second question, the LED lamp or LED lamp test item is not understood. On the one hand, it is easy to confuse safety requirements with performance requirements or electromagnetic compatibility requirements; on the other hand, it is always assumed that LED lamps will have some very special testing items. There is no excuse for this, but most of us who work in the LED industry are not engineers. We don't need it and it's not necessary to make it so clear. However, it is necessary to establish some basic concepts. For example, the product structure appears creepage distance is not enough and product pressure can not pass, all of which belong to the requirements of safety testing. The product of radiation, conduction, lightning or harmonic does not pass, it belongs to electromagnetic compatibility in the project. Luminous flux, color temperature and intensity of light distribution are of course the content of optical property.
In addition, LED's most important test project should be an assessment of energy consumption. We say that LED how to save energy and environmental protection, you must have facts and a basis, and rely on data to speak. LED energy efficiency certification of the first the most basic requirement is that under the premise of ensuring product safety and not to external electromagnetic interference, the maximum power consumption of P rated luminous flux generated when the value of the P, at least to achieve ERP level in the A level; second is the most basic requirement of normal light after 1000 hours the reported loss rate is less than 5%.
