Misunderstanding one, the greater the power the higher the brightness
The brightness of LED panel light with luminous intensity to measure, that unit solid angle emitted by the luminous flux. Generally speaking, the light source emits its luminous flux with different intensities in different directions. The visible radiation intensity emitted by the solid angle in units of a certain direction is called the light intensity, or axial brightness for short. Current fast work, the power is large; current work slow, electric power is small, or in equal time, the current work more power, the greater the power, the LED, not the greater the power, the brightness of the product high. Therefore, consumers are concerned about the purchase of LED lighting its axial brightness, rather than power.
Misunderstanding Second, the expectations of the actual life is too high
LED manufacturers expect LED life to reach 100,000 hours, but like all basic light sources, the luminous flux lumen of LED panel lights decays over time. So, although the LED panel light can be very long, MTBF is not the only consideration to determine the service life. LED lumen decay is affected by many environmental conditions such as ambient temperature, humidity and ventilation. Lumen decay is also affected by control, thermal management, current levels, and many other electrical design considerations. Therefore, consumers are concerned about the purchase of LED is its decay rate, rather than the use of time, consumers should not expect too much of the actual life expectancy.
Misunderstanding three, the actual light angle as an effective point of view
LED panel light emitting angle is divided into the effective angle and the actual angle of light. The luminous intensity value is the angle between the direction of half the axial strength and the axial direction of the luminous axis. 2 times the half-value angle is the actual angle of light. In the axial strength of more than half the angle because the light is too weak in practical applications do not account for the effective angle. Therefore, consumers should pay attention to the actual lighting angle of the panel when purchasing the panel light. When calculating the number of products used in the project, the actual lighting angle shall prevail. The effective lighting angle can only serve as a reference value.
