How do I choose between the two solar string models?

Will the listed solar runtime be the same in every season?

No. Actual operation depends on daylight hours, panel angle and shade, weather, temperature, battery condition, control mode and nightly activation. Validate the selected model at the intended site.

Can the string cable be used as its only structural support?

Use approved anchors at suitable support positions and avoid unsupported long spans, sharp bends and abrasion points. The solar panel and controller also need separate secure mounting.

Can standard 120 V or 230 V bulbs be fitted?

No. The solar models use DC 3 V bulbs even though the lampholder format is E26 or E27. Match the bulb voltage to the approved solar system.

What does the outdoor protection statement cover?

IP65 applies to the approved assembled string; opened connectors, damaged cable or an unsuitable controller/panel joint can reduce the protection.
