Linear products require system information
For an integrated fixture, total wattage alone does not define the maximum linked run. Feed arrangement, connector rating, conductor capacity, inrush current, protective device and local installation rules can become the limiting factor. A quotation should still identify the exact length, power, colour temperature, connector arrangement, mounting accessories and intended circuit rather than relying on the appearance of an exhibition sample.
Decorative products need an appearance reference and an electrical brief

A buyer should specify the visual subject, glass or envelope shape, cap, voltage, light colour, dimming requirement and target packaging. If the product is used in a hospitality or retail scheme, include the viewing distance and whether the lamp is exposed or enclosed by a shade.
